Scope choice for 6.8 Western build

I’m looking at a scope to put on this new 6.8 western build I have going now, and I really like the NX8 by night force. Not sure if I should go with the 2.5 x 20 or go with 4 x 32 I like hunting scopes in the SFP and the weight is almost identical. Does anyone have experience with both or any suggestions? Thank you

Also I have heard that the eye box on the 2.5x20 can be a bit tight as it is an inch and 1/2 shorter then the 4x32

Balue35, you might want to look at europtic right now, they have both of these scopes that were showroom models for 1550 - 1650.00 right now. Comparing the two I dont see much difference in what they offer, kind of just boils down to what you want personally. Hard to go wrong with a NF.

Keep me posted what you decide. Looking at the same scope for my custom build.

I have limited experience with them. I’d like to hear your thoughts.

I’ve used both, the 4-32x is my go to though. I’ve got one on three rifles…really clear glass and super reliable. The 2.5-20x does have a slightly tighter eye box, but as long as you set your eye relief properly it’s not that bad. I did sell my 2.5-20x and switched to the 4-32x and can’t say enough good things about it. I definitely put it through its paces last October on my Elk hunt. Crazy weather swings that included warm 65 degree days, to rain, to below freezing temps with over a foot of snow, all in a matter of a couple days. Also, during that trip it withstood a pretty bad tumble over some deadfall where I landed chest first on top of a fallen tree on my rifle (funny enough a 6.8 Western) and scope. I broke my bino harness in the process, but the scope was good to go. Last day of the hunt I was able to make a successful shot on a bull at a little over 530 yards.

I really like my Leupold vx5hd 3-15. I’m getting excited thinking about it.
