Just catching up on the latest Mancast regarding scope field testing. As you have been meeting with the different scope manufacturers through events, emails, etc, is there any indication they are changing the way they manufacture scopes in order to pass tests like the Rokslide drop test?
I’ll be in the first wave of people to try the new Rokscope, but one of the tidbits I thought was interesting was that LOW (who makes the scopes in Japan for a lot of different companies) mentioned they knew what the problem was of why the scopes were failing these test and it was like a $5 fix during manufacturing.
IIRC, Cliff Gray had mentioned a month or two ago that he thought the problem would essentially phase out in 2 years or so. The idea being to make the correction on any newly produced scopes and eventually the updated product would be in supply as the old scopes sold out.
