Jim, you show two hornady tools in your list of supplies needed, I am trying to understand the difference between these two:
One tool measures the distance between the base of the cartridge and the ogive on the bullet itself. This is used to help determine seating depth for the bullet.
The other measures the distance between the base of the cartridge and the shoulder of the cartridge. That’s used when resizing your brass when reloading.
