I am not a reloader… any suggestion on factory ammo 6.5 cm that shoots well out of the sig cross standard version? Or if there is a weight and velocity I should look for?
I will need to order some rounds for a shooting class and hoping to pick the right ones with some help from the Backfire community.
So I bought the Sig Cross 6.5CM used, looked new, and put a Burris Veracity 4-20x50 on it. I love that scope maybe that is why I have 4 of them. I went to the gun range for a quickie sight in. I had asked Jim about reloads since he has a good load for his Sig Cross. I had a box of Hornady 143gr ELDX that I used to sight it in with. I did some reloading last weekend for my 6.5prc, using the same 143gr ELDX. Seems like a good plan using the same bullet for both.
I was really please with the factory group, and I think if I slowed down I could tighten it up. So here is 5 rounds at 100 yards.
I had to change my rings, because I added a Vortex Impact 4000 to my Sig Cross 6.5 cm, and had to have Vortex Premium rings for the Diving Board mount. So I was going to my lease this weekend and sighted it in there. This is Hornady 143gr ELDX at 100 yards. Pretty good round.
