I’ve been looking at the Peak 44 Bastion stock. Will see if it works out. Really liked the Iota, but couldn’t find anything for a Tikka.
The Rokstok has had good reviews and is price reasonable too. I had that peak 44 on my Weatherby 307 CT Alpine and didn’t care for it and ended up selling it on eBay and put a Greyboe Trekker on, as the peak 44 is a 13.25(I think) length of pull… either way I was way to bunch up into my scope.
I bought a Tikka with a wood stock in .270 (blued barrel) at a local pawn shop (Tikka makes some decent wood stocks for their hunter or sporter or whatever it’s called). I didn’t really need the rifle, but I swapped it over to my other Tikka (T3x Lite, stainless steel, .308) that had the normal plasticky stock, and then I sold the unneeded .270 in that junk stock at a local gun show. Now I have the configuration I want
