I’m interested in opinions/suggestions for a long range target camera that transmits from a camera located down range (next to the target) to your tablet or a receiving station. There are multiple brands including Longshot LR-3, Caldwell Ballistic Precision, SME Bullseye, Eagle Target Cameras. Does anyone have any good/bad experience with these. I am interested in not only its functionality/reliability, but the bundled software features included. -->Jim, might be a great topic for a product review video.
I have only used the Long Shot and it was awesome. Haven’t tried the others.
If you don’t have a dedicated range to set up or if it’s a pain to get to and from the target to place the camera, a lot of guys just buy a drone and fly it out there and get a live feed back to their phones.
Thanks Jim. That was the brand I was favoring. Yes, I get the fact that it could be a pain to set up. Might try the drone idea first.
