I know that Jim is not a favor of terminal assent ammo. However, out of a 300 Winchester mag with a Tika action proof research barrel and suppressor. The 200 mg bullet was 4 1/2 inches at 700 yards as I did the ballistic trueing. With that ammo 430 yards on an elk with no heart left.
I’ve had trouble with the burger hunting bullets. They fragment and will not necessarily penetrate on an elk on a shoulder shot. However, on a deer on a spine, it took out 3 inches. But, I’m not going to use the burgers because I do not have real confidence in them
I’ve tried them in a couple of 308’s and got MOA sized groups. Haven’t hunted with them yet.
Wish i could handload them and see if I couldn’t improve on that. But component bullets are rarely available and I don’t think I’ve seen any load data.
I have some 175 TAS that I got early on. But only tried them briefly in the 308. I can’t remember what the results were. I was waiting to see about the 300 WinMag but a rifle likes the 200s and the federal ammunition
For low development, find an equivalent grain, bullet weight, and the suggestions in the reloading manuals and start low and work up. That works well with anything that’s new and you can’t find specific information such as the 22 Creedmoor information from Hornady
