Anyone seen this new suppressor company and their precision/hunting suppressors
Sorry, haven’t heard of them.
They just came out but were compared side by side with some of the best suppressors on the market.
I’ll have to keep an eye out for when they publish results. I think all of us should welcome the suppressor carnage going on right now. There’s going to be some companies that rise to the top and it’s going to push innovation. I was a bit confused who they actually tested against vs just making configuration changes to the same suppressors…but I’ll wait to see what gets posted.
The Vortex Nation Podcast from Monday of this week was with unknown suppressors as well as Ryan Avery from Rockslide / shoot to hunt.
They discussed the fact that there are no testing standards that anyone really adheres to with suppressors and that really needs to change. They’re trying to push for that change
Been following them for a little bit now. I’m going to try one of their 30 cals for my 300prc.
Wow, very promising. I hope to hear some real world reviews in the next few months.
this part right here, this is incredible. 300PRC moving like a 243. I have it queued up - it shows the recoil measured. Its unreal.Tenet Versus the rest
Yea I’m excited, they open for preorders tmrw
I checked out the Tenent Limited 30, looks and performs really nice. A major drawback I see is the price tag between $1100-$1200. Additionally, when swapping between rifles will another recalibration be required to regain the previously acquired accuracy? Barrel harmonics often demonstrate fairly significant deviations to the shot group when altered even slightly. If you have a rifle with a tuner installed you will know what I mean. I have a Browning A Bolt in 300 WM with the Boss. I worked the load development to exhaustion and the best I could do was a 2.5 MOA. Something had to give so I started messing with the Boss. Within 15 minutes the groups had shrunk consistently to MOA or better. Putting a 6-10 oz device on the end of a 20-24” arm surely has consequences or am I missing something? Buying a can for each rifle is a great idea, if you can afford it.
Price I saw was over $1500, and fully kitted was over $1800. Immediate turn off for me. The technology is amazing, but I’ll wait until someone reverse engineers them and adds caffeine to get their own patent and then sells them for under $1000.
The price of suppressor needs to commonly be under $500, let alone be over $1500.
I’d rather get in line for a Airlock Suppressor…
Or even a SILENCERCO SCYTHE-TI .30 that’s in the $750 range
I was all in until I saw the price, too. I had a feeling they were going to be on the more expensive side, but I didn’t think it would be $1,573.99 shipped. If this was in the $1000+/- range I would have bought it.
That and you add that most place charge a $100+/- transfer fee
Just saw that Banish now has a break add on for the 30, the 30 gold and the 30 V2. Its $140. That is an outstanding break and I already have one, so that’s my next move - as soon as the break for the 30 is back in stock.
Purely my opinion but to me they’re akin to Mtn Ops or Montana Knife Co. No one knew who they were but through massive social media push they’re all the rage. With the inflated price tag I suspect they’d better be flawless every time and if an issue pops up they’ll need to be all over it or they’ll be just another face in the crowd in no time.
honestly they are competing with Thunderbeast and other suppressors in that category, I was gonna go with thinderbeast but now I’m going with tenet , they are keeping up with demand not like thunderbeast and they come in 4-5 oz lighter and better recoil reduction at the same price
