Either you have a hole in your fencing or those piggies have springy legs. Not a problem for Whitetail, I once saw one buck clear a 6’ fence from a stand still, jumping horizontally.

If you look in the back of the photo you will see a drop gate. This is a trap, that takes photos and sends to our cellphone. We can hit a button on the app and drop the gate if we are at the ranch.

I’ve seen a bunch of videos of those traps. I didn’t notice it at first view. How often does it fail, if at all?

It has been in 12 years. Technology advances and we do controls upgrades periodically. Controls are cell based. The company that manufactured it is Cellgate, which makes telephone entry systems for the access control industry. I own a company that installs and services automated gate systems, and we use Cellgate telephone entries on estates.
