I just want to say thank you for all that you and your team does. You do videos, you create podcast, you work on new projects/accessories to help improve our firearms. Plus you take the time to answer all the questions on the forum. I know all of this has to come with stress and time away from the family. Just know that it is appreciated.

This year has by far been the hardest in Backfire history. This chassis project has been insanely tough. 1.5 years ago I literally hadn’t seen a CNC machine before and now we have $200,000 invested in machines and lots of people working night and day to get the chassis out. I’ve stretched myself as hard as I could.
I’m rewarding myself, though, with my absolute #1 dream hunt in a few weeks though! I just paid for a pilot to take me and my camera man on a caribou hunt. I didn’t get one last year on the cheaper airboats so I’m springing for the nice hunt.
Caribou has been on my bucket list of 50 things to do in life that I made when I was 16 years old. I think this year is time. Can’t hardly think about anything else! Aug 20 here I come!

What rifle setup you going with for your caribou hunt this year?
We just filmed a video of our testing to make that decision. Vid comes out Monday, but short answer is… still can’t pick lol
