Hey guys, hope you all are well and that your hunting seasons have been great so far.
The land we hunt is overrun with hogs and it seems they are running the deer away. We are seeing few good deer, but it’s not like normal. LOTS of pics of hogs on the land.
As such, any good recommendations on affordable thermal scopes or scopes with night vision? Looks like I need to be in the market for one.
Thanks for the response, and good to know. I’m really not looking for a pricey set up. Just need something for a few basic hunts. I’d looked at the Sightmark Wraith online and wondered how it performed.
I started with Nightvision infrared, and still have a Sightmark Wraith 4k Mini. I use it for those corn thieving masked bastiges. I use a Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 on a AR10 in .308 for pigs, and a Pulsar Thermion 2 XP50 Pro on a .223/5.56 AR-15 for Coyotes.
A really good source for information is “The Late Night Vision Show” on You Tube
