I am seeing more of these show up at deer camps. What does this group think of the Ozonic ozone generators?

Wish I had a great answer for you but I don’t.
I started using one right around the time they came out years ago and still have one today. A lot of the people I hunt with have them too. Funny thing is, not a single one of them swears by it, feels like " oh my God you have to have this thing!", but I’ve also never heard of anyone get mad at it or feel like it’s useless.
Not like any of us have done any true scientific testing with it.
I’ve had deer come right up to me when using it. However I’ve had the same thing happen when I wasn’t using it. In fact this past hunting season I killed the biggest buck I’ve ever killed in the continental United States, he was about 30 yards away and I was wearing just regular camo clothes. No scent lock, Fox urine, ozonics, etc.
I would be surprised if the deer didn’t detect it however. I mean I know I can smell it, and they have better noses than I do. Back when Therma cell first came out, we used them a lot since we live here in the southeast and have more mosquitoes than people around. We saw plenty of deer and killed plenty of deer nearby while running them. However after about maybe five, 10 at most years started firing those things up in the deer would never come near anyone using them.
Interested to see what other people have to say myself.
On a similar note; what about HECS?
I hunted in Missouri this year with a friend. Showed up at the camp and all the members had one. they used them every hunt and swore by them. They told me stories of animals that would work downwind of them and never thought twice. One guy who I know to be a long-time hunter and a good one, told me a few times when he had a few different white tails curious about a smell while they were downwind and they never busted him. Right before Christmas they were running a big sale…needless to say, us hunters will buy anything and I bought the HR500.
Hell, I even just bought a recoil pad from some youtube guy…lol
I have used it a few times when I knew the wind was questionable. it is something to get used to. The setup in the stand takes a few minutes but I do like it when I am hunting. It feels like it gives me a little more edge. You can control it with your phone. It gives you a lot of cool information about the wind and weather conditions at your location. I think you still need to hunt the wind as much as anything but the 7 to 8 times I hunted with it, I have not gotten busted.

Would be neat to do an experiment now that hunting season is over. Go get in a stand and turn the Ozonics on, and wait until some deer come out downwind from you. Then after a few minutes turn it off and see what happens.
