Tikka Threading Barrels

Hi guys. I am wanting to buy a Tikka T3X Superlite chambered in 6.5 CreedMoor. But I need a threaded barrel. I was just told that Tikka announced all 2025 models of the Tikka T3X (including the Superlite) Will start coming with a threaded barrel standard from the factory. When is the supposed to happen? I keep looking on your website and still see all of the non threaded barrel option :frowning: It is almost April. Can you please tell me what is going on? I really want to buy one. But, like I said. I need the threaded barrel. I am trying to find out how long? Because I am really tempted to get the Ruger American Gen 2 standard in 6.5. It is already out, cheaper and has a threaded barrel and muzzlebreak and cerakoting and fluted barrel already. Please, information would be extremely appreciated.

Wish I knew. I haven’t seen any either. I am sure there are them thousands of the old manufacture still in the pipeline before the 2025 manufacture ones are seen in gun stores.

Ruger American Gen 2 is good but won’t let you build on the gun as easily as a Tikka if late on you want to switch somethi ng.

I finally saw the first ones in the wild at Scheels here in Chandler, AZ a couple days ago. They still had plenty of gen1 models on clearance to try to sell but it seems like the new ones are slowly making appearances. I think they were priced right around $899 if I remember correctly.

Stopped at Scheels today and they had a few of them on the floor, so they are starting to appear in stores. I was actually surprised how seamless the wider barrel end is to allow threading. Wouldn’t have noticed if I wasn’t looking for it.

Oh man, That is awesome! :grinning: I love Scheels. I saw Scheels here in SLC had a Tikka T3X Lite with a stainless steel/threaded barrel for like $824 I think? Hopefully they will all be coming soon  Thank you for the information!
