This is a rubber tool that won’t scar your suppressor. The friction of the rubber tightens on the suppressor as you tighten or loosen the suppressor.

That’s an oil can remover, but that a great idea.
I frequently use a suppressor removing wrench to remove oil filters. Whodathunkit!
