Since I acquired the Seekins Precision Havak Bravo in 6.5PRC I really didn’t need two 6.5PRCs. Since I never really liked the Bergara MGLite which was also 6.5PRC, I decided to sell it. I found a Fierce Mountain Reaper in 7mmPRC, which I had been wanting originally in 6.5PRC. But I bought it anyway. Then I had two 7PRCs so I sold my Fierce Carbon Rogue in 7PRC and actually wound up $800 ahead.
Jim has always spoken so highly of the Mountain Reaper I did not think I could go wrong. Will take it to the range and post results maybe tomorrow.
Little range time today. First trip rings were too low and I didn’t have enough elevation. Back to the shop and re-ring the scope.
Second trip worked. 2 x 2 picture was fine tuning with ELDX
Other picture I shot 5 rounds of Hornady Match. Was about 1.5 MOA low and a little to the left.
Going to like the Mountain Reaper. BTW average speed was 2654 fps. This Reaper has a 20" barrel, and was shooting suppressed.
