Looking as the tricer RP vs the spartan springbok any suggestions on a mountain hunting rifle
I like that get both an ARCA & Picatinny attachment head. And long & short legs which are easy to change.
The con for me is the twist locks on the legs they are fast and easy to deploy but it doesnt take much to effort to unlock them. Maybe I just fat finger them IDK.
Anyway I think its a great bipod with lots of features.
Jim and Garrett just did a review on Backfire Ballistics.
I like my tricer. They do have a fair amount of wobble, but it is light and really easy to hike around with. Never tried the spartan.
Ive had the Tricer for a while now, I like all the adjustment and that i can use the same bipod for shooting prone, as well as being able to take a sitting position or kneeling. I was at shotshow and the Springbuck looks super cool, and messing with the silicone head was cool, but when lose legs splay all the way out, it is just so clumsy to get set up and move it around
I have the Tricer. Not the best for the range but in the field it has been great. Just be sure to use the ARCA or picatinny attachments so keep it as solid as possible.
