Have you ever tried the turret tags on a scope with low-profile (non-tactical) turrets like the Leupold VX-5HD?
Yep! I’m yet to find a scope that they don’t fit on.

My wife bought me turret tags for my new 6.5 prc. I haven’t put them on yet due to the lack of data. Do you recommend manually testing like taking to the range and shooting groups at each distance, Or do you rely on ballistic charts? I am limited to 200 yards at my range so I have to go out in the field where I hunt to test at longer ranges. When doing that, I am limited to shooting prone instead of off a bench. I want accurate data for my turret tags out to 500 yards. What would you recommend I do?
Shooting prone would be my top choice over a bench. Most the time your hunting it will be prone anyways won’t it?
Yeah, it’s really best to get hard dope (actually shooting) to make sure it’s correct.
