Anyone else feel like our country is in serious trouble?

  • Debt is completely out of control. It’s not being addressed by Republicans or Democrats
  • Military forces being used against US citizens
  • Trade war hurting millions of Americans and small businesses and Tariffs being paid for BY Americans
  • Shunning our closest allies like Canada and catering to known terrorist supporting countries like Qatar
  • Press censorship
  • Hatch Act violations to an insane degree
  • Another Government shutdown. This falls on both parties.
  • Checks and balances being bypassed or fired
  • Put as neutrally as I can: blatant and multiple violations of law from the current president.
  • Cuts to Goverment being made recklessly. Like a surgeon with no training. Filled with mistakes and incompetence. You can’t remove the cancer if you’re using a battering ram, otherwise you’re removing just as much healthy tissue.
  • CDC firing top scientific minds and those who disagree with RFK.
  • Politicians making millions off insider information. Corruption at its finest.
  • Protecting the Epstein files from release. How can anyone justify protecting these pedofiles?
  • Not even attempting to hide Project 2025 goals anymore
  • I feel like it’s going to try and get played off, but the Trump 2028 stuff is legitimately scary. At some point, if you act like a fascist dictator enough, you can understand why people start thinking that about you.

Nothing to see here. It’s totally normal to have a President who has no restraint, no decorum, no professionalism, no decency, whatsoever. Oh yes, and he’s also the most Christian President we’ve ever had too…

Cmon people, this is NUTS! Is this really who we want representing our country and who we want the world to think we are?

How are our kids ever going to recover from this?

I agree that we are in serious trouble.

I don’t see republicans as being any better about reckless spending than the dems. Republicans are the ones in power and they have ballooned spending.

I have increased my bitcoin investments as a result.

There are many things in this list that I have a very different opinion on. You seem to be parroting the same leftist talking points that I see thrown around on CNN and other “Orange man bad” / TDS places.

  1. I am also concerned about the crazy debt. This is bad, and needs to be corrected.
  2. ICE agents are being attacked and crime is rampant in some of these places. Not as concerned about this as you are.
  3. Yes, I think the trade war isn’t great is some area’s, and it IS great in others. Pretty neutral on this point.
  4. I don’t think Canada can be considered one of our CLOSEST allies. They are a good trading partner, that’s pretty much it. I agree that snuggling up close to Qatar is concerning. Trump seems to have leveraged that position to convince them to have Hamas release hostages. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer? Not going to say this is ALL wrong.
  5. Not sure what you mean by “press censorship”? Maybe people upset about Kimmel?

  7. Government Shutdown - Yawn. Dems need to sign onto this one. This is on them. Talk about government spending. They want to add a ton onto this one for no good reason.

  9. I think the CDC is filled with bad actors. I don’t care how much of a “top scientific mind” you are, I completely support RFK and I am super happy with what he is doing. The US has been growing significantly more unhealthy and diseased over the years. I point the blame at ALL of the health officials over the last 40+ years. Clean house

Trump has never claimed to be a christian. He has been a huge support to Christians. I also believe much of the world is realizing what a strong leader he is. You seem to have a touch of TDS in your blood. I am also concerned about many of these things, but simply have a different perspective than you. I encourage you to get some more moderate news sources that don’t buy into all of the crazy hype.

Get ground news and use it to balance out what is reported in the main stream media.

For instance Epstein was arrested and jailed in 2019 during President Trump’s first term. There was no plea bargain for him and he stood trial and was convicted.

All of the Epstein files laid dormant under the Biden administration for 4 years with no one concerned about releasing the information.

President Trump said he would release the Epstein files as a campaign promise and he directed the Attorney General to do just that within the legal limits.

No doubt that President Trump is pushing the envelope on getting things done within his power and where there has been questions it has gone to the courts for adjudication.

So far he has made good on many if not all of his campaign agenda. The man himself may not be liked by a many but he is making good progress in turning this country back on the course the founding fathers set it on originally.

I worked for the federal government (DOD) all my life (over 40 years) and it is never black and white and I have never met anyone 100% satisfied with every decision made by leadership.

Under president Clinton’s first term “Reinventing Government” initiative reduced the federal workforce by approximately 240,000 employees between January 1993 and January 1996. In total 426,200 federal jobs were reduced in federal government over the entire eight years of both terms. What we are seeing from President Trump is not really any different than what other presidents have done to get America back on track.

America has been undermined by socialist doctrine. In November of 1956 Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev stated that the Soviet Union would eventually triumph over the United States without firing a shot. “We will bury you” he said, He clarified that he was not referring to a literal burial but to a Marxist concept. He explained that the proletariat (working class) would serve as the “gravediggers” of capitalism, leading to its inevitable demise.

This is what we are seeing today across America. The whole NO Kings rally was partially funded and promoted by the Communist Party and other socialist groups. The Revolutionary Communists of America published an article claiming that communists brought a “class war program” to the rallies. along with other organizations that participated.

There were many other groups involved as well and about 5 million participated. This event was mostly peaceful and I was happy for that as so many other events in the recent past have been violent.

The point I am making is I respect the right of everyone to have their own opinion and I believe there is not a clear black or white answer to any of these questions, that is why we have a judicial system as a check to balance and temper the powers of congress and the president.

The US constitution is the foundation I believe we all must start from in forming our opinions. The media purposely or not gets it wrong all of the time.

There is a lot of work to be accomplished to correct the errors of our recent past. First and foremost we need to close the gap between people. Rid ourselves of this divisiveness. Agree to disagree and still seek the common ground all of us can live with. I believe it can happen. We were clearly on track up to 2008 then things changed. We can get back to that closeness in all walks of life.

Okay…. How is the press being censored exactly? Because in the Biden admin they directly put pressure on trad. media and social media companies to tow the line on all things Covid and several other policy issues, reporters who dared to question the narrative and official policies were censored and removed from the conversation. Normal citizens, including me, also faced censorship on social media, for sharing TRUE information about vaccine injury and this little thing called natural immunity that we have known about since at least 2500 BC, but became “conspiracy theory” in 2020. I could go on. There has not been an administration that bad on free speech, ever. As for Kimmel getting a week off at the behest of his employer (not the orange man), cry me a river.

Now let’s look at our close allies like Canada and UK, which have taken steps to further censor their citizens, and disarm them. Yeah… what are we even doing here? Like we should be putting every pressure we can on them to knock that illiberal shit off. Trump admin has scolded them for it but hasn’t gone far enough in my opinion. We might have to go to war to free the canuks from tyranny if it keeps going as libtarded as it is.

The CDC, FDA etc are fundamentally broken organizations. I applaud RFK for trying to fix the broken system but the reality might be that we just need to throw it out entirely and start over. He has to fire almost the entire org, it’s not people who disagree, it’s people who serve the machine instead of public health. Even if you disagree with him on some issues the central thesis is that government works for corporations not us, and RFK attempts to work against that, but like I said it’s an uphill battle. I support him 100% but I don’t know that he is going to succeed.

I really do not understand the fascist dictator angle, I mean really. It’s so unhinged. We have laws, and checks and balances that for the most part have worked out okay. The courts struck down a lot (though not all) of the tyranny of the last admin, and if this one oversteps they face the same barriers. The stuff we have to worry about is not all this no kings BS, it’s stuff like eliminating digital ID/Real ID legislation, the Patriot Act which has to be repealed, implementing a true separation of big business and state, term limits for representatives, etc. This is stuff that we can all come together on and that would be supported by most normal citizens. All the huffing and puffing that each side does about cultural and political nonsense is distraction. Most of what you are citing here is made up fear porn by left leaning media narratives. Government does need overnight and boundaries no matter who is in office but IMO Biden’s admin was 10x worse than anything we have seen thus far in Trump 2.0 (though nobody is perfect—we will see how the next few years pans out).

The telling sign that we’re cooked is that in a forum such as this there are so many liberals, and many of them calling for the dismantling of 2nd amendment rights.
I’ve noticed a growing trend of liberal tendencies amongst veterans and federal employee types as well. I guess this shouldn’t really suprise me government employees are very dependent on big government and therefore tend to support that ideology.
This forum is getting kinda lame. More about “ what chassis should I buy?”
