A couple things here. I own a Vortex Razor LHT and I had the same sluggish magnification ring that you had mentioned once. I called Vortex and the rep told me to heat up the ring with a blowdryer on low setting until it was warm then work the ring back and forth, It did wonders for the operation. I checked the scope ring operation again after sitting in the safe for months and after a few twists it was turning free, nowhere near where it was at when I purchased it.
On another note I wanted to add a throw lever to the scope and heard you mention a company on your podcast. You didnt quite do justice with your company plug. The correct name is “Ballistics Brothers”.
I have been dealing with Andy Haws and he has been great. I will post an update once I have the throw attached and give you a feel for how it works on that once sticky ring.
