Hello all. I recently ordered some weatherby 7mm prc brass naively thinking they make their own brass. Only to find out after some research (that i should have done first) that its likely either perterson brass or hornady brass. Is there anyway to know which one i get? I was trying to get “better” brass than hornady. Peterson would be just fine in my book.
Hm. Not sure. Hornady brass has a weird light feel to it that you may be able to recognize just by handling it. But also I don’t think Hornady has brass available for Weatherby cartridges so I don’t know that they’d be the supplier except for certain Hornady-made cartridges.
Thank Jim… 7mm PRC is a hornady cartridge though. Either way im gonna run it. I was curious more than anything. And the fact retail is so much higher than hornady I would hope its not just rebranded but
