Not in the market for a new rifle, but found a Mark V AccuMark on consignment for $1249 and it looks brand new. It seems like a really killer deal, not really looking for a 6.5 Creedmoor, but feels like a hard deal to pass up. Am I missing anything?
My 2 hunting rifles are currently a 308 and 300win mag. Not sure the 6.5 CM really feels a gap there…
buy it. I do not own one but my brother does and it stays at my house so I shoot it whenever deer season rolls around so it is ready when he visits. One of the best rifles I have ever picked up that balances weight, rigidity, accuracy, and looks. Timney trigger, 60-70 degree bolt throw…if you dont want it, send me the contact data.
Good luck
Great. Look it over. Take the bolt out, look for dings, rust marks. Look down the barrel against a light to see if it is clean, or if you see a rough patch that could be rust. Wiggle it to see if the action fits tight in the stock. Look at the muzzle make sure there are not obvious dings to the crown at the rifling. It is a good deal, but check it out. You may be looking at a rifle that someone bought, but caught the PRC bug and moved on so they are selling it.
Never had one, never had a chance to even look at one. But they’ve always interested me. Somewhat heavier barrel, 5/8 threading. I’ve shot some of their other rifles with thinner barrels and while they shot well for one or two shots that was about it.
Yeah, it is almost medium varmint type contour, I think about .625 to .700 at the muzzle, but the flutes take some back. I just really like the rifle, it will surprise you with the weight and the balance. I have tried to buy my brother’s but he won’t budge. The newer ones have a brake now I think, but his does not, which I like.

This one’s threaded w a break. Retail on them is around $2200 I believe. Pretty great deal. May head there in a bit. It’s at Outpost Armory in Franklin, Tn. if you want it. Help save me the temptation. Haha. I’m really looking for a .270 or 6.5 prc.
