Random question but, going to be camping in August & hopefully catch a few fish on the West Dolores in Colorado. I’ll be fly fishing, my wife will be using an ultralight rig. Any local knowledge? I’m hoping to fish the West Dolores & not have to drive down & fish below McPhee Reservoir.
Haven’t fished there but would like to hear this answer. Wanting to do lots more fishing. I’m feeling the hankering.
What is the fly fishing like in Utah? Want to hit some of the NPs, Monument Valley &, hopefully, do some fishing along the way.
There is fantastic small stream fishing in Utah above Bryce. Check out deer creek, calf creek, the Fremont River. Alot of small creek stuff that most people don’t bother with. If you want some specifics let me know.
