I am making a custom 7mm PRC from a Tikia T3 and I am wondering what Barrel I should use? I have looked around and I don’t know what brand to use.
Kreuger, Bartlein, BSF, Proof all have impeccable reputations.
Jim have you ever had any experience with Carbon 6? After some research I ended up going with them and then after the decision, I came to find out they are located about 3 miles from my house
I’ve never used the carbon 6 barrel but I’ve built two tikkas now with prof barrels one in 6.5 prc and the other in 6 creed both shoot sub 1/2 moa groups very impressed with the results.

Cant speak for other brands but I have 2 guns with proof barrels and they both shoot great. 1 is a 7prc. Shoots sub ½ moa with factory ammo.
I have experience with a couple proof barrels both of which have been impeccable I have been able to achieve incredible accuracy with them, and I haven’t found them to be too picky with bullet selection (I handload). But I’m starting a 7PRC build and am planning on putting a Bartlein on it.
