Saw this video and thought it was interesting the lengths that this guy has gone through in order to make the 6.8 Western “work.” I really don’t blame him because it’s perhaps the “ideal“ mountain and backwoods cartridge. To me it’s still everything the 6.5 PRC wishes it were but timing and the company that introduced it.
Same can be said in many ways for the 284 Winchester that should be exceptionally more popular. I mean with modern bullets and a decent case capacity it’s everything most have asked for in a sheep rifle.
