Which action would you pick for a custom rifle?

Exploring the idea of doing a custom 7 PRC, and these seem to all be highly recommended, but which would you pick over the others and why?

I have the origin (proof rifle) and love it. My new friend who builds rifles swears by Peak. Honestly, any of these would be better than a production rifle, I don’t think you can go wrong. Best of luck, keep us posted. I am on the path to build one once I move some Bergaras.

I have 3 custom guns using Borden actions. I have been very pleased with them.

Also, I would not spend the extra money on a titanium action. The extra weight of stainless will help manage the recoil. Steel also makes the action a little smoother. I have found titanium to be a bit more sticky. Just my thoughts.

I have a Defiance Anti and it’s very good. I think if I were to do it again I might go with a Lone Peak that has a little less slop in it.

Agreed with avoiding titanium actions. The weight reduction isn’t worth the stickiness in my opinion.
