Your questions for Tikka?

I’m in Finland visiting Tikka and Sako. Tomorrow, I’m interviewing their head gunsmith. What questions would you like me to ask him on video?

How do they consistently make a better action than the competitors.

Are they planning to come out with a folding stock adapter for the Tikka target/game chassis? If so, when?

The T1X receives really mixed reviews for ejection, are they working on releasing an updated version or new 22 LR model in the near future?

Why are all Tikka actions still based on the same long action footprint? Why not offer a short action?

Why will they not sell their actions as a standalone product?

Why are factory magazines so restrictive on cartridge overall length?

Can we have a hint about the new T4X rumored to be in Development?

Why not offer heavier barrel options in hunting rifles? Many users love the Lite and Superlite but would like a middle-ground contour

Tikka is known to take a really long time to adjust to changes in the hunting market, adopt new cartridges, etc. Can they explain why they are not more agile in today’s market? How does Tikka decide which chamberings to support? What level of market demand is required before a new cartridge is added?

A lot of the Tikkas I’ve seen that do offer shorter barrels are often blued instead of stainless steel, is there a reason for this?

Tikka and Sako are already blurring the line between what they offer. Do they intend to keep these separate as budget/premium product lines or is it possible they are combined into a single product line at some point?

One reason Tikka has such a loyal following is its reputation for consistency, accuracy, and reliability. What QC metrics do they track? What are they doing differently that is not being done by competitors?

Will Tikka ever move to a staggered magazine structure or will this be reserved for the Sako line?

Tikka is currently using a taper for their threaded muzzles, is this just to keep the weight down or why this approach instead of having a universal barrel thickness?

European shooters often have access to variants that never arrive in the U.S. Who decides which models reach North America?

Why not offer factory pre-fit barrels?

The current T3X stock feels like a known weakness of the system. Why not update the current design with some of the modern features most shooters desire like a vertical grip?

Will Tikka continue to use synthetic stocks on future models or will there be a shift to more carbon fiber at some point?

What is the most requested feature that has not been implemented yet?

If you were designing the T3x from scratch in 2026, what would you change?
