Backfire chassis release date

lol, you’re already getting “is it ready yet” messages.

@jim I also wanted mention that it is a great looking chassis you mentioned somewhere that you thought many thought it would unappealing. Don’t think you have to worry about that

Looking forward to the presale… I guess I’m going to have to buy a Tikka now….

Are they going to be offered in left hand or ambidextrous?

There will be a lefty version

I think it would be really cool if you could do a “# of 50” engraving for the first 50 or even a “Backfire Plus” engraving for the ones you sell here.

That’s a cool idea.

Love that idea! Now I have to go buy a tikka so I can buy one of these.

Between your recoil pad, suppressor cover and this, you are killing it right now. Good work man. Really cool stuff!!!

Awesome! Thanks for the picture and the potential price point. Now I just have to wait. I need to get my Savage 110 ultralight out of that terrible factory stock. I’m hoping it will be available for Savage actions a few months after the original release date. No pressure though ha ha

Will there be a version that fits Sako?

If you are needing extra machinist I know a guy that does great work. And he already ships/delivers to St George regularly.

Jim, are you guys integrating a thumb rest into the chassis?

Yep! It’s built in.

Where is he based?

Southern California. I was down there for work for almost 2 years a few years back. He was my neighbor. You couldn’t meet a more salt of the earth kind of guy. He does awesome work.

He is also extremely fair priced. He did a few small CNC jobs for my work. I had to keep telling him to up his price.

@backfire do you guys plan to make a version that is compatible with sako? That would be a really nice option to have for an already great riffle.

Yep! For sure.

Eurooptic has a 7prc B14 ridge carbon wilderness 30% off ($1,049), that will make an awesome barreled action to put in your new chassis. That’s what I’m looking at. Excited for these to come out!!
