If you like monos, a 120 TTSX over Varget works well.
No hand loads yet. I was shooting factory Hornady Precision Hunter 150gr ELDX loads.
UPDATE:
I got her back today. Here is what I received from Sig.
Firearm Inspection: Complete. Firearm received with excess play in stock hinge.
Work performed:
- Replaced stock hinge
- Confirmed accuracy (pass)
Tested: Firearm passed testing and fired without malfunctions
Ammo fired: SIG 168 gr OTM
I find it hard to believe that a butt hinge was the cause of my accuracy issues but they included targets and the ammo used. At least I’ll have a way to duplicate their test.
I have a .308 Sig Cross. It shoots almost anything respectable in 1 ish minute or less. It really likes Federal’s Accubond loads though.
What’s the next step for you?
Put everything back on it and see if it shoots this time. I’m gonna order a couple boxes of the Sig OTM ammo they used for their test.
