Wondering has seen airlock suppressors, they make a 3d printed titanium 5.5 inch can coming in at only 6,6 oz

I pre ordered the 6.5 & 7mm. They had a good deal on Black Friday. Should ship January / February. I’m excited to try it

SilencerCo Scythe-Ti has been my favorite so far.

So as I am extremely new to the suppressor side of firearms since iI live where I can now own one , Question for you all, basic as it may sound i just dont know. Q. Do you need to fill out the ATF form and submit fingerprints and photos and wait for the background check every time you purchase one?

Yes, you have to submit a form 4 for each purchase. And that would include your fingerprints and photo. That’s even the case if you purchase two suppressors at the exact same time from the exact same place. Most places do it electronically nowadays.

Most of the larger suppliers, companies will store your fingerprints and photo so when you do a new submission that’s already on file for submission

Starting January 1 the $200 tax goes to $0.

Also if your doing a trust the people on the trust will also have to do the background checks

I think… can’t you add somebody onto the trust paperwork after you buy it and have it for a while?

Correct. Lots of people will create a single responsible person Trust, then purchase one or more items in the trust. Then later add additional people to the trust. However, once you’ve added those additional people the trust cannot purchase anything else without the entire group of people submitting their own fingerprints, questionnaires, photos.

Excited to hear what Jim has up his sleeve today. Is that going to be on here or YouTube?

Sorry, the company releasing it moved the release to Dec 22.

Sad day, we will continue to wait in anticipation.

Well Heck, guess it will be a Christmas present now.

Any update on that announcement for today?

Ok it’s a little funny.

Backfire crowd: Airlock Industries!

Jim: Surprise! Bergara is making suppressors now!

With the new burgara 30 bti coming out would you go with that or the banish back country for hunting?

At 6.5”, 12.9 oz and $1100, there are way better options than the new bergara suppressor. Look at a dead air nomad Ti or SilencerCo Scythe Ti. Both can be found on sale all the time under $1000, both are shorter and significant lighter as well.

Just saw the new video drop on youtube, it looks like a nice suppressor, but like Johnny said you can pick up a dead air for around 8 or 9 comparatively. That being said if it truly out performs and lessons the impact on the ears to the point of increased hearing protection saving your ears it could be worth the extra money to a lot of people. Self included, will have to see how it all compares.

Seems like a weird time to be unveiling a new suppressor to me. Unless your dealer has one actually in physical stock at his location, there’s no way you’re going to get it in and done before the first of the year. And at the First of the Year everyone is predicting that things are going to go nuts with the $0 tax stamp and the system may be overwhelmed and overloaded.
