For hunting I have the Banish Backcountry on my 300WM and 6.5prc.
Jim and community, have you checked out the B&T PrintX Ranger? I dont have anything to compare to in real world as I only own that one currently. But it is essentially the same price as the Bergara. However its 5.1 ounces lighter as well as a quarter inch shorter. And it does a superb job taming recoil on my 7prc. I would be greatly interested in a comparison between the 2 real world. As I am looking at getting a 2nd 30 cal can in 2026.
I havenât tried that one. Sounds great.
Itâs also got a built in muzzle brake, I have the b&t print 556 for my ar and everything they make is gold
Might be time to look at an Airlock:
Itâs not letting me link the article but Rokslide has a good comparison of the âREAPER vs AIRLOCK vs PTR VENT 1 vs NOMAD TI-XC vs DD ENTICER LTI TITANIUM SHOOTOUTâ
I know itâs only January 12th, but I havenât heard or read anything yet about any kind of suppressor shortage yet from the removal of the tax stampâŚyou guys seen any impact yet?
Or what the wait time has been? I heard that like 1.5 million applications were submitted om the 1st
I am still waiting for approval, just got notified it is being reviewed , how long we will see.
So i just got my approval letter yesterday so it took just about 15 days of review once they started and it took 10 days to start. I bought mine in December before cutoff and was submitted to be processed on Jan 1 so all on all about 25 days.
Right now Iâm at day five for a suppressor. The previous two or three times before this it was like 48 hours at most.
It could be it was my first time, for NFA, or simply due to the fact they had over 170 thousand applications lol. Still not to bad considering the horror stories I have heard before, even the guys at the shop said could be months so I am not complaining, lol, just happy it is done.
