Seriously what do you think is the real reason President Trump was arrested? And do you think he deserves it? What do you think will be the outcome if he is found guilty or innocent?
Iām withholding judgment until I can read the charging documents myself, but it sure smells of extreme partisanship weaponizing the criminal justice system.

I dont think much is going to happen. All the charges were known to be BS with evidence to shut them down before this all started. Its all a show before the next election to prevent him from running again.

100% BS. Our Government is corrupt and this the absolute worst of it. We should all be very concerned about the political weaponization of our government organizations. I think democrats hope there is another event they can use for propaganda, as they did with the fake J6 fiasco.

Trump will not win in 2024. If you believe the Democrats stole the election, nobody has done anything to stop them from stealing it again it will happen again. The only way he will win is if something very bad happens.
Not sure he can win either. To many things and people are against it. Itās a shame what our country has come to.
So I have to be honest I donāt know all details beachside I turned off the news to maintain my own happiness. But I am pretty sure there is a tax funded slush fund that protects sitting politicians. Am I wrong that we expect a politician to take advantage of power and illegal wealth. Trump paid off a porn star to be silent. Who cares? I remember a healthy economy and my family feeling safe when trump was in office. My gun rights not threatened and my taxes lower, because I pay a ton of taxes! Donāt give a damn if he paid a blond to be quiet about thier sex stuff just sayin. But I may not be up to date on the truth as I said I have disconnected from the lies, I mean news for my mental health

I have worked in intel for 30 years and understand the handling of classified material more than most in this world. This, like Russia, Russia, Russia is engineered to make something out of nothing. To the uninformed it sounds horrible, but to those in the know, we know it bogus. Itās not possible for the Commander and Chief to commit security offenses. As much as I hate Biden, even he canāt and shouldnāt be prosecuted for his handling of those materials found in his garage, campaign offices, etc. Take note Gentlemen, you are witnessing the systematic destruction of our republic by enemies of the state. Those enemies are the entrenched power brokers in the three letter agencies. There are others, but I can only speak to what I know.

My take is this.
The DoJ has to present a case to a Grand Jury in order to even have a case. Over the last ten years people have increasingly fallen into traps surrounding conspiracy theories. Yes, politically motivated accusations happenā¦ and have forever. Itās not unique to Democrats or Republicans. They both do it whether itās Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Nixon, Johnson, JFK, etc. so can we just acknowledge that it comes with the territory.
My personal opinion is that Trump did enough in office to elicit suspicion. He was a corrupt businessman that often bragged about it and simply continued corruption as a politician. So politics aside it feels more like heās reaping what he has sowed for years. At the end of the day the evidence is the evidence.
All that being said I donāt think much will come of it other than a slap on the wrist. I donāt believe they come as hard after him as they would a traditional citizen. Reading the Mueller report there were significant irregularities in whatās ānormal.ā Iām a firm believer in the reality that he creates most of his problems by being petty and small in how he handles his criticism. Iām also a believer in that yes the government 3 letter agencies have had overreach but I didnāt hear as many complaining about it when it didnāt affect the people they cared about.
This is a democratic party smear job. Everyone in this country with a lick of sense understands President Trump is without a doubt the Greatest President this country has had since Loncoln.

No amount of smearing could produce an indictment to a Grand Jury without some plausible evidence being presented. I like a good conspiracy theory as much as the next person but letās be real, many people (and we can argue most), elevate by flying in the gray areas of whatās legal and whatās moral. I donāt think Trump is an exception but Iād be willing to bet my life savings that he regularly has broken laws whether itās soliciting prostitution or bribery to move along deals. I have a hard time believing any large scale NYC developer has clean hands after being in business for ~50 years or so.
Itās a bit different than Hillary or Bill sitting in front of congressā¦ or Oliver North taking the fall and doing the same. If it was just a matter of congress then youād have a more valid point about it being largely just a political stunt but there was clearly enough in the Mueller Report that if he werenāt the sitting POTUS at the time would suggest a Grand Jury and likely criminal indictment would follow the investigation.
To answer the original question though I donāt think much more than administrative type penalties like felony outcomes that donāt come with jail time at most. This would make him ineligible to run for federal office again. Honestly I donāt know why he would one to. Seems like itās a no win situation for him and many other wealthy potential candidates.
Definitely one of the best. Itās an obvious smear tactic. They want him to have a felony conviction be fore he runs again but they have nothing. Just look at how this country is and is being run now. Itās disgusting. We are as week as we ever have been. There is a select few in office who have other agendas on their minds and with a President that is by the people for the people they canāt do their dirty work. Period!

Hillary ran a private server with classified information on it. The only reason to set up a private server in the first place is to avoid detection of illegal activities by the Government or to prevent the Government from spying on you and since she was in the government we can deduce what her motive was. It is patently illegal to host classified information on unauthorized computer information systems. Period.
I have several private servers. You can deduce why I have them.
While I donāt Love Trump, I know that he loves this country and that is better than the joke of a traitorous president we have now.

So several points.
There are several high level people that house āprivate governmental serversā within their homes. While I will say that Clinton Foundation information that isnāt being worked on under a contract with the USGOV should not be hitting those servers what can happen is it being held under. Governmental controls in accordance with NISPOM regulations. I worked with some people in the past that had government servers within their private homes due to their position and where they worked. so I know this first hand. Someone as high as a Secretary of State would be authorized to do this. Most citizens or government workers had no need or authorization for this.
No, Iām not naive but letās consider facts - was Hillary was dragged into congress and sat down for several days to answer question or not? Iām pretty sure her lawyers encouraged her to do so as it was politically beneficial for her to do so.
Bill sat for several hours to answers questions about perjury under oathā¦ and getting a BJ from an intern.
Matters regarding a cabal of politically powerful people regarding whether itās a Soros, the Koch Brothers, etc. only serve as political theater from both parties.
Now regarding Trump and the Mueller report - that was HIS own party/administration that decided to do that. Are there corrupt people in the government? Of course there are. Do lawyers select people on jury and dismiss them strategically? Of course. Letās also be honest both sides can advocate to dismiss from a judge with prejudice to try their best to stack decks in their favor. Itās a part of the legal system.
Now back to Trump he simply couldāve avoided this by turning over documents to the national archives if it were a mistake. That happens regularly and thereās not a problem. He decided to pick a fight he didnāt have to - and doesnāt that describe a large part of his presidency? Picking Twitter fights that he didnāt have to to create more self inflicted drama. Being POTUS is hard enough as it isā¦ he made it harder than it had to be with his Twitter rants and responding to insignificant quibbles regularly because he just could NOT help himself. While I agreed with SOME of his policies/positions I have no idea why he would want to subject himself to another 4 years of craziness and disorder.
As for anything elseā¦ we can respectfully disagree but the reality is this indictment is political on some level yes but also self inflicted. Itās les about the action and more about the concealment and fight. I donāt like Biden and heās about as bad as I expected but I didnāt like Trump either. I refuse to believe we have 350 million people and this is the best that either party could come up with. That being said, Hunter Biden is entering a plea agreement for his actions as well so itās not like the federal government is ONLY coming after one side of the parties.
Feel free to feel what you like but this is how I see it. Itās not about personal belief so much as forming an opinion based on the evidence of the investigation in the declassified reports. Now if you have no faith in the ability of anyone to be objective in their investigation then thatās a different matter and maybe then you should question why have ANY faith in the future of anything. At some point people have to have some belief that everything in the world isnāt out to get them. The world can be harsh but it can be beautiful too.

I donāt have anything to add to the debates re: just how guilty is he ofā¦ anythingā¦ but, I will say that I think this conversation has shown that Trump is overall a weaker general election candidate. I donāt understand why he is still polling ahead of Desantis. And I honestly donāt care about all the indictments and allegations. Just look back to Covid, it was such an important time, and DT ceded too much authority to bureaucrats like Dr.ās Fauci and Birx. He had enough sense to bring in Dr. Scott Atlas as an outside voice of reason but then didnāt listen to him in the end. He was the president of lockdown. Desantisā response was legendary, reopened before anyone else, got called Death-santis and other nonsense, yet continued to make policy decisions that were unpopular in the media, but he ended up with age-adjusted mortality no different than other states (and even better in some cases like NY, CA, etc. who had even more strict policies). He listened to more voices (e.g., Great Barrington), he recognized the censorship and top-down BS from the WH as what it was. And he took a different path even though it was a risk politically to do so. He made the establishment look like a bunch of absolute morons and shined a light on what they really are: totalitarian wannabes. So, in hindsight, I appreciate what DT did with the time that he had. But itās time for something new now.
President Trumpās so called arrest is a total leftist scam. The democrats fear him. The whole thing is B.Sā¦ This country needs him back in office to right the wrongs of the current fools masquerading as government officals. This country has not had a great a President as President Trump since Father Abraham.
